I neglect my flexibility so am beginning to get the same problem. Some trainers will pooh pooh this method but I find that it's really good is... I sit on the floor with my legs straight out in front of me. I arch my back and push my ass out like in the video. Start slowly reaching forward down my legs making sure to keep my back arched, butt stuck out, legs as straight as possible and toes pointing upwards. Holding the stretch for 3 minutes stretches the muscle as fully as can be stretched but even 30 or so seconds helps if you do it every couple of days. I personally think that squatting itself using the method helps if you do it for the warmups going as low as you can go before your butt turns under. For me it took a while but as time went on and with practice it got better. I suffer the tight hamstrings and glutes like you do it's a f**kin' nightmare. | ||
