Got the leather ones from eBay. They need wearing in a bit to make them softer but they worked well for me tonight. I even managed to wrap them around the bar myself! It's a milestone!

Just an hour of netball tonight. My lower back is not happy about me forgetting to put my belt on for 100x5 dl last night! Don't think I'll be doing that again too soon!

Trained with my hung over coach today! Had new trainers on which didn't help squatting and the pain in my back got steadily worse throughout the session but not bad overall.

You did well! Glad it's made you feel better. My back isn't as tight now but then again I'm not putting it under any strain! Will just have to take it easy on it and not forget my belt when I'm deadlifting!

If your back "pain" is soreness from tight muscles, heat helps, and stretching once it's warmed. You can get some incredible soreness when muscles extend under load, like when the back rounds on a DL, but it usually gets better to do something with it. Hope it recovers soon.

Just back from an hour at running club. 8 x 1 min uphill efforts with 2 mins rest between. Jogs either side and stretches after.

Back was feeling pretty good but was painful when I was walking the rest sections tonight but not when I was running. At least it's not hurting all the time I suppose!
