4 mile steady run tonight at running club with warm up and cool down jogs either side to make it up to an hour.

Felt so much better than the last time we ran that route which can only be a good thing!

I'm not that beastly just very competitive and paul's beating me now with 140 dl so that's where the 110 came from! Don't think I'll be beating you for a long while as in forever but I'll keep aiming high! Looking forward to events on Saturday! Might just want to check my dl set up to ensure that I will be able to match Paul! Happy

Thanks! Was focusing on getting plenty low enough on the 50s. Gra's deadlift is almost double mine and I am a girl, which must make me a worse lifter given your last comment! Don't worry though I'll try. Might have found a Saturday events session in Newcastle for after Christmas which sounds pretty good so there's hope for saving on fuel costs!

No it's somewhere behind central station in Newcastle, a girl at work goes at the moment. They do lots of tyre flipping and sled pulls apparently! amazing what you find out when you're supposed to be learning about your next masters module! My hand is ok just sore, my own fault for not stopping when it first started hurting! Oh well I'll learn!

Hah, I think not quitting when you should is a pretty common problem round here. I took a bunch of skin off my hands climbing last week; keeping the callouses down might help, although chalk will help you a bunch.

Hoping for lots less ripping on my hands once I've got chalk!

Done an hour of circuits tonight. Lots of burpees, squats and jacks again with a few press ups thrown in for good measure!

Was a good day. I got the 35 db onto the 60 platform as well which is an achievement as I'm only 3 inches taller than that! Pretty pleased with the keg as well but not so happy with my soft girly hands!
