They will harden up but 50kg for 30m is still good going, and yeah the keg is really good so was the yoke, really good work u should be really happy, I should be free to train next wk if ur down, if not no worries

Running club tonight can't remember what we did exactly just loads of sprints and efforts with a 10 minute jog either side.

I think a 150 yoke and 60 farmers is on the cards this weekend, the 120 looked easy

I'd be pretty pleased with those. 120 does look easier than I thought it would so definitely up for going heavier. Hands are looking better as well so farmers might be better.

Just back from netball again and very much looking forward to getting back in the gym tomorrow. Missed weds as training partner is union man and gym was closed due to strike. Oh well just have to squeeze more training in over the weekend!

Events training at junction with gra this afternoon. Went with the aim of a 150 yoke for 15m and loading 70kg keg onto training platform.

Yoke
90 x 15m x 4
110 x 15m x 2
120 x 5m
130 x 10m
150 x 15m
120 x 30m, 2x15m drop and turn

Keg loading
60 x 3
70 x 1
80 x 3, attempts failed to load
60 x 3

Achieved both of my aims and the 80 keg will go soon just need to work on my technique a little more but pleased overall.

Thanks! I'm trying - got a bit annoyed with the 80 keg and broke 2 fingernails doing it which is worse than any of my bruises!

Forced myself to running club again tonight.
6 x 1m30s efforts with same recovery between and jogs either side of 17mins.
