In all honesty dude that's a lot of weight you're pushing overhead. Gotta think of it in terms of it weighing the same as a person!

I can barely clean and jerk bodyweight overhead if I can do it at all now. The fact that you might be close to pressing it blows my mind dude. Have you done shoulderwork before you started your blog?

thanks wiegie, honestly don't feel like I'm doing any good weights atm, so suprised at that,
Happy just doing hypertrophy training atm, but love strongman stuff so would like the hypertrophy stuff to lead into decent lifts tbh, I trained about 2 years ago for around 10 months about 2 times a week but nothing committed or intensive or good at all, complete newbie then so was just picking s**t up etc, but haven't done any weights at all for 2yrs and never lifted heavier than I am now Or done shoulder work, and even current weights are low as f**k atm just starting out, so I consider myself a complete novice really

a very late worout today, been a busy one, sorting the knee high grass on the lawn, drilling holes in plates to bolt to my wheels for diy bumpers, the list goes on.
made a less dom worrying attempt today, and tried out some more floh work and deads on my new axel bar

The way you threw up that 48kg above your head was prett convincing mate and i thought your dead lifts look real fine too. I am pretty sure you will get to where you want to be if you keep this up. Dont put your self down bud, your a fellow lifterGrin

them skullcrushers, bring it into yourself more, so ur arms arent like so angled if you get me, thatll stress the shoulder a lot being so far away from the body, should aim for the bar to touch top/back of your head Happy

cheers buddy, i think thats what i aimed more for in the last session, seemed to be playing with them a bit still though between forhead and top/back of head, i'll get another vid up next time for more critique Happy

I haven't trained since last posting, hit a mental block with some personal and financial problems at home which i've had a while but stayed positive about, but now have come to a head and really hit me for 6 in the head, hopefully push through it and not lose the house or affect me and the mrs, still going to sort my s**t out and focus on the gym, ithink it's the one new thing in my life along with my daughter obviously that's kept me positive and focused!!
Hopefully get a session in tomorrow afternoon or Saturday the latest and crack on again from there, I haven't missed recording a session on here since my first time training so you'll know how I'm getting on lol
