Competed in the Scottish Powerlifting Championships (weighed in at 73.1kg (75kg)) this weekend and a Weightlifting club match two weeks ago (weighed in at 76.4kg (77kg)).My lifts were as follows: Snatch: 75kg Clean and Jerk: 95kg W/L Total: 170kg Squat: 160kg Bench: 105kg Deadlift: 180kg P/L Total: 445kg My targets by the end the year then are: Snatch: 85-90kg Clean and Jerk: 110-115kg W/L Total: 200kg Squat: 175-180kg Bench: 120-125kg Deadlift: 200kg P/L Total: 500kg We have some strongman kit in our gym as well going to have a goal there. I pressed our 70kg log twice so looking to 5 reps on that by the end of the year. Lastly, targeting a full standing rollout by the end of this year! I’ll post videos as often as I can. Back a little tight after competition yesterday so left out log cleans. Will look to add these in next week. First time I've tried Pendlay Row but quite liked it. Leaning back quite a bit on my last set of Military Press so cut it short at 3 reps. | ||

Enjoyed the squats - first time I've been working for a while. Only thing I didn't do that I was suppose to this week was log cleans and jerks. That's the benefit of the journal - no hiding place! | ||

Finding it hardest off the ground. | ||
