Been threatening to keep a journal for a while and now seems like a good time to start. Competed in the Scottish Powerlifting Championships (weighed in at 73.1kg (75kg)) this weekend and a Weightlifting club match two weeks ago (weighed in at 76.4kg (77kg)).

My lifts were as follows:

Snatch: 75kg
Clean and Jerk: 95kg
W/L Total: 170kg

Squat: 160kg
Bench: 105kg
Deadlift: 180kg
P/L Total: 445kg

My targets by the end the year then are:

Snatch: 85-90kg
Clean and Jerk: 110-115kg
W/L Total: 200kg

Squat: 175-180kg
Bench: 120-125kg
Deadlift: 200kg
P/L Total: 500kg

We have some strongman kit in our gym as well going to have a goal there. I pressed our 70kg log twice so looking to 5 reps on that by the end of the year. Lastly, targeting a full standing rollout by the end of this year!

Great stuff man. Well done on both comps.
I've been powerlifting at the palace of arts for a couple of years and am just getting into the oly stuff a bit now.

Comments: Pretty good session. Back a little tight after competition yesterday so left out log cleans. Will look to add these in next week.

Comments: Really quick session last night. First time I've tried Pendlay Row but quite liked it. Leaning back quite a bit on my last set of Military Press so cut it short at 3 reps.

Comments: Used straps up to 60kg on the Snatch and then hooked for the 5 singles. Enjoyed the squats - first time I've been working for a while. Only thing I didn't do that I was suppose to this week was log cleans and jerks. That's the benefit of the journal - no hiding place!
