I agree with those guys, form doesn't look bad at all. Given that your back's been hurting tho' do you feel you're hyperextending on lockout? Pretty much all I can think of.

Thanks, urrrm I'm not sure, I have sufferred with a bad achy back for about 2yrs, so may just be aggrevating it a bit, currently trying to sort it all out, nothing too bad that stops me immediately doing things though, so carrying on is fine, nit sure what you mean by hyperextending, I'll look into it, there's always room for improvement, so I'll keep at it, I do think that having more space between bar and shins is going to help loads, gunna get so much more use out of my legs that way

quick little rubbish push effort this afternoon, pulled my shoulder last night in work!? painfull around the a.c. joint area, affected todays training, never had this before, but 2 of my mates have ruptured theirs in the last month, i hope its just a tweak ffs!

flat bench press

*apart from the shoulder i pissed the weight ranges with them being lower than last weeks, hopefully back to normal next week

Just read this. As far as oly shoes go I have Strength shop Lions and they have been very good I would deffo recommend them. However think I'm gonna replace them soon with some Do-Wins no real reason other than I fancy a change

Ok buddy, I'll definitely take a look at them then as I'm keen to progress both strengthwise and physique etc, looking forward to getting the compounds on the right track

*started low to check on calf, felt it pull a touch but seemed ok so went for 73k, did the full ranges but not to horizontal level, calf would only let me go so far down, i was also tipping forward as a substitute :/

Pull workout today, got up late, all ive had is a gainer shake so far, no food in the cupboards, man im dieting pathetic but skint and kind of glad cupboards are empty as my shopping list will be diet focused when i go shopping tomoz

picked up a Bupa claim form today, so i'm off to physio tomorrow to have or book a consultation for my back and shoulder, will take it from there then, gotta get it sorted, just want it fixed and not getting worse,

*i've decided to lower these whilst i rest my calf, also to be 100% comfortable with form and be happy i'm doing a full hip parallel squat and not cheating by not going the distance on how low i squat, 53k felt fine, no calf niggle, and happy i went low enough, leave at 53k for now

* 75k has seemed really easy on the good sessions so just banged on the plates and ended up at 90k, which i thought was 83k until 2 mins ago as when i realised i used the 7ft bar NOT the 6ft bar! no wonder it felt like i hard work, which im happy with to know the effort is going in, definitely wont be putting this weight up without being confident about form and performing the actually lift correctly

*i've been hanging from pull up bar for these but seem to be swinging to much, so today i put a barbell across the cage under the pull up handles and used this against my back whilst hanging, much happier.....and much harder, burning abs!!!

still feeling a bit demoted with shoulder injury on the brain, has felt fine today though, so hopefully rest is key, but physio will sort this i hope anyway

diet has gone to the dogs over last 2 days, not really eaten much rubbish, just not eaten much at all, still eating the training related foods i bought in last shop when i have been eating though, still very much a work in progress....

on another diet related note, UDOS oil is f**king RANK!!! taste stays for ages, i must get over this hurdle and continue with oil taking and diet changes for the better.......
