Took some ibuprofen before training to ease sij inflammation. Going into deadlifts I was unsure on what weight to pull so just did it by feel. I pulled from the third and second blocks stacked, so about 15".

15" Deadlifts
bar x 12 rdl
60kg x 5
100kg x 3
140kg x 1
180kg x 1 belt straps
220kg x f
180kg x 3 belt straps(straight after the 220 fail)
200kg x 5 belt straps
210kg x 4 belt straps
210kg x 4 belt straps

Off third block (about 13")
180kg x 5
180kg x 5
180kg x 5 - there were more there than 5s but I wanted solid fast reps and these were they.

Back held up fine.

you seen the deadlift is starting at200kg then 20kg jumps to 260kg then 10kg

i really really wanted to have a crack at 250kg Unhappy

ps have you tried ibugel on top of the oral ibuprofen or my trick deep heat the bas***d till you cant feel the f**ker

Still in Crewe at what is now Simply Gym (formerly Fitness First).

I'm hoping to get a rep at 105kg overhead, but we will see.

Did a bit of overhead in a different gym. Didn't have my belt or oly shoes.

The 90 felt like a tonne, so did some work on split jerks and power jerks at 40kg and 60kg, coming to the conclusion that the factors for my struggle were flexibility in the racking position, leg drive and confidence.

I need to sort the above in order to have a hope for 105kg.

Yes Beefy, overhead at least, the axle can f**k itself.

Ed, I was happy with the deadlift, so I do expect 220 now.

Grant, I feel like I am going to be hitting it right, cause every session is improving, I do agree with the motivation and work needing to improve a bit so I may do my last two weeks at peak.
