Weighing in at 97kg (15 and a half ish) in the morning at the moment so need to shift some fat and sort diet out, so to kick start did a little interval work up at the industrial estate near me.

The car park around some of the estate is about 200m circumference and did 5 circuits jogging, sprinting the final 25 metres, then straight into the next lap. The sprint was also uphill so helped me to stay on the balls of my feet, also wearing my vibram five fingers which definately help with this as well.

Going to try and keep this up at least every other day.

Slowly working down to 5s and 4s for strength phase so today did 6s for main exercis and then re-intriduced lifts that will be in str phase that I havent done in a while.

Back Squat
wup - Bar x 5 (x2); 60kg x 4; 80kg x 2

Working Sets
100kg x 6
100kg x 6 (felt better then first set, pulled lats tighter kept better thoracic control)
100kg x 5+1 (reset after 5, bit dizzy due to heat/breathing, took 10secs then 6th)
100kg x 6 (felt good, more in the legs, breathing wasn't great though)

Front Squat
wup - 60kg x 2; 70kg x 3

Working - 80kg x 3 (easy)
85kg x 3 (harder, mostly due to breathing)
85kg x 3
85kg x 3

Overhead Squat
Bar x 5

Had a few people down to do some yoke, farmer's, sled, duck walk and a muck about with the 2inch db.

First event ended up being getting one of the atlas stones out of the inside of the tire, took two of us leg pressing the stone while a couple of screwdrivers were wedged between it and the tire and the tire was being held. Quite a good warmup.

Yoke
205kg x 10m

245kg x 10m

Farmer's
90kg x 10m
90kg x 10m (only did this weight and distance because of callouses which were precarious)

Duck Walk
100kg x 10m
160kg x 5m
160kg x 12m (stopped because callouses, only on left hand, so obviously need this stronger because nothing on right)

Sled Drag
160kg x 40m (with one turn and probably 10sec breather)
160kg x 40m (with one turn and probably 30sec breather)
180kg x 30m (with one turn and 1min breather)
160kg x 30m (with one turn and 10sec breather, quickest run, found that the 20kg jump to 180 slowed me down loads, so seem good training loads)

Going to condition this session straight off (mostly because it was disjointed, weak and overall pathetic), I hadn't eaten any carbs, just finished work and it went on for 2 and a half hours (even with this said the following will look s**t).

Push Press
60kg x 4

60kg x 3 (lost concentration, poor leg drive and triceps too weak to save it)
60kg x 4

Seated Behind Neck BB
wup - bar x 6; 30kg x 5; 40kg x 5
45kg x 5

45kg x 5 (doing these because I am woefully inflexible, weren't too bad)

DB Push Press (unilateral)
40lbs x 3 (each side, so 6)
60lbs x 2 each side
70lbs x 1 left; x 2 right

Smith Machine CG - bench at 75degrees approx
50kg x 3
40kg x 5
45kg x 5
45kg x 4
45kg x 5 (did these to replicate log pressing angle, I feel like it will help, but although all completed reps were powerful I died suddenly on a few, so pressing definately needs work!).

Like last week this session although planned to be wup pwr cleans, then deads for volume and some assistance, turned out to be power cleans for a good hour and little deadlifting (again this was down to an over caffeined boss).

Pwr Cleans
wup - bar x 5 (x2); 50kg x4;x4 (onto tip toes); 60kg x3; x3 (onto tip toes)

Working Sets
70kg x 3
75kg x 2/3
80kg x 1 (made a break through with pulling technique, previously I had been pulling too far back, tweaked to straight up and the bar started moving)
80kg x 2 (F 3rd) pb
85kg x 1 pb
90kg x f
90kg x f
90kg x f
90kg x f (ridiculously most of these fails were pulled to chest height, but I was so concerned with my pull that I was in slow motion trying to get my elbows through, frustrating but promising)

Deadlift
wup - 90kg x 2; 120kg x 2
170kg x f (knew it wasn't there, legs had nothing, but bullied into trying it twice)
160kg x 1
140kg x 5 (left it there, need to do a proper dead session, 150 x 5 next week)

Farmer's
100kg x 15m (don't know why)

Seated Row - Parallel Low Grip x few sets
Wide Grip Pulldown x few sets

Happy with cleans, not with deadlift.

Felt s**t, so warmed up then did the following:

Back Squat
80kg x 3 for 6 sets (just practised form and put some blood into legs)

Smith Machine CG Incline (75degrees)
40kg x 5
50kg x 5
55kg x 5
60kg x 5
65kg x 5
67.5kg x 5 (i think, might have been 4)
67.5kg x 5
Changed the incline to about 80 degrees and moved bench as close as possible
40kg x 5
50kg x 5
60kg x 5
60kg x 5
Done. Might be off on sets, but roughly the above, happy and showed me that the last smith machine session was when I was very fatigued. Legs are going to be done properly on sunday morning.
