Cheers Shane, but to be honest feel quite weak, with the exception of some event stuff.

Military Press
bar x 6

55kg x 1 (didn't press with any intensity so lockout was took ages, difficult rep)
52.5kg x 3

Push Press
50kg x 1
55kg x 1
60kg x 1
65kg x f (no shoulder or tricep strength, s**t)
60kg x 1

Push Press Double Dip
50kg x 1 (squat jerk - if thats the correct term)
50kg x 1 (squat jerk)
50kg x 1 (split jerk)
50kg x 1 (split jerk)
50kg x 3 (squat jerk)
50kg x 2 (squat jerk)

Overall poor, if I intend on being able to do the log will have to double dip.

Deadlift (Oly Bar)

wup - bar x 4; 60 x 4; 90 x 2 (pulling straps on due to hand hurting); 130 x 1

Working Sets
160kg x 5 (confortable, more there)
170kg x 4
170kg x 3
170kg x 2 (reps dropped off as fatigue set in and legs got tired)

Axle Deads (no straps)
160kg x 2 (felt fine, just tired, 5 plus should be there fresh)

Inch DB C&P
10kg x 4
30kg x 1
30kg x 1
40kg x f (too heavy 4 press)
35kg x 1
35kg x f
35kg x 1
35kg x 1

Log (C&P every rep, well at least tried to)
70kg x f (four times failed the press, I am truely s**t at these).

WG Pulldown and LowPulley Rows - 3 sets each 6-10 reps.

Happy with deads considering when I tried them 2 weeks back after pwr cleans I failed the 170. Pressing has to be a long term plan, to s**t for a quick fix.

Did some deads today, my right knee had some fluid on it (not sure from where/what), so I have been babying it a bit, good thing is there's no pain, so...

Deadlift
60kg x 3
110kg x 1 (wraps because hand it still hurting)
140kg x 1
170kg x 2
170kg x 2
Axle (no wraps)
160kg x 2
All didn't feel as powerful as last dl session but happy enough and I didn't really attack it.

Wanted to practise farmer's pickup, pb = 110kg, but didn't go great...

Disappointed with this, but hopefully it was due to fatigue, the 110s need to move for the gym1 comp!
Also the boss brought down a metre long tree stump weighing in at 60kg, in a hussafelt style bear hug did a 50m walk with it, then a 25m through the gym to weigh it, felt easy just made breathing shallow.
At the end of the day I tried to press it overhead, got it to chest 5/6 times easy just couldn't press it.

Push Press (tried these with a belt on, first time I have ever worn a belt and for overhead press I think it benefits me)

Quick session today, light squats to check out how my knee is (it's been popping when I walk up stairs and has a bit of fluid on it, I'm blaming the yoke) and tried to do the log and tree stump for the gym1 comp.

Squat
bar x 5 (x2)
Put knee wraps on for first time, didn't like them, so off they came.
60kg x 4

Never going to do too much and knee felt good for it and ironically isn't clicking when going upstairs now!

Log c+p
70kg x about 6 fails on press (truely s**t, don't think I'll get this on comp day now)

60kg shouldered x 3 but failed each overhead

The whole day ran smoothly considering the weather. Well done to all who competed; Sean for the win, solid on everything and nice bloke; Matt (Bushingman) good all round and great farmer's; North London lads Justin and Arran (hope those names are correct) again both performed solid, especially with an ankle injury from the log lift. Ed with his late entry did well, good 135 stone and with a bad back the 200kg axle. Oli was performance of the day for me, really starting to get into the "strongman" ethos, especially impressed by the strict press circus db. Other competitors, Derek impressed with his overhead lifts, Ali Shah stepped up to the plate late and performed with great effort in everything with no practice. Jason with a bad back again did well on the deads and was solid on the log.
James' organising and reffing went well, good decision to change the overhead medley due to weather (even though it cost me 1 or 2 points!), Chris for helping out and other spotters, helpers, and oli's brother Lewis for time keeping and helping with scoring. Think that's everyone, good support as well.

Event 1 (changed due to weather)
Yoke 15m (250kg) Duck Walk 15m (160kg) Medley
Did s**t, dropped the yoke 3/4 times, by the time I picked up the duck walk legs were jelly and time was going, ended moving it 5m. 8th - wank.

Event 2
Log Lift
First off, Karl if you are reading this sorry, slightly and I repeat slightly scuffed the platform, it is put of the way(ish) though.
Was pretty sure I woulld no rep. Cleaned the opener, 70kg, easy, push pressed powerfully and according to James locked out one arm, obviously forget about the other 1 and lost the log overhead and to the side, pioruetted back (imagine a s**t attempt at a back flip, without legs leaving the ground) and put an end of the log into the platform (again, so sorry Karl, I might be working for free for a while) = Last

Event 3 (changed due to weather)
Farmer's for Distance 100kg (turn at 15m)
Happy-ish, 23m, 7th/8th I think, should have gone quicker and turn was s**t.

Event 4 (changed order for grip's sake and event due to weather)
Circus DB 45kg for Reps
No repped, couldn't lock out, had 3-4 attempts, close but not. =Last

Event 5
Deadlift 160kg (or 200kg) on Axle
6 reps, wanted 5 or more so probably happiest with this event. 8th/9th?

Event 6
Atlas Stones for reps over Yoke 105kg or 135kg
Did the 105kg, missed the first one, didn't attack it but relapped straight of, then got it. Missed next two attempts on height, so finished with 1 rep.
8th

Finished 9th out of 10. Unhappy with yoke (got over excited/anxious) then took the other events as a training day and it went better.

well done today mate, thats the first time ive seen you look agressive and not give up on the log(maybe for the worst lol). also stone looked solid mate unlucky a couple of times but it was a decent height. axle deadlift was solid didn't expect it but look strong. hopefully this will encourage you to enter another comp. bit more practice and you'll do fine!

Yeah thanks, fairly happy, just need to get stronger and get back to 90kg. By the way, back is slowing seizing up with every inute passing!
