There is a deadlift comp at the PL club down the road. The Surrey record for the u105kg class is only 220kg, so I thought it would be rude to not go and compete.
However as my back snaps up every time I deadlift now and I will have to join GBPF for a whole year just for the privilege of competing, its probably not going to happen now. No deadlifing record for me. Will just continue being crap at olympic lifting.

1st December is a date bro.

I will make sure the organisers have a broom for you to use and if you snatch 100kg a urine test.

COMP day! Very informal comp between woking and st marys, I helped organise so was not 100% focused.
Snatch warm up: 4x3 1x40kg, 1x50kg, 1x55kg, 1x60kg, 1x65kg
Was running late with my warm ups so had to increase my opening lift to get extra time.
70kg, 72kg, 75kg FAIL lost it in front.
C&J: 3x3 20kg, 1x60kg, 1x70kg, 1x80kg, 1x85kg.
91kg, 95kg, 101kg // friendly reffing again on the 101kg lock out can be improved.
173kg total +1 from previous comp total.

Felt ok, but its 4th day in a row that I have trained, it showed with my snatches. Pretty solid squatting though.
Warmup
Snatch: 4x3 20kg, 2x 30kg, 1x40kg, 1x50kg, 1x55kg, 1x60kg, 64kg F1F11 1x65kg, 1x66kg, 1x68, 1x72.5kg // Pretty dodgy but happy to have ground them all out.
Bench: 15x40kg, 15x50kg, 15x60kg
Front Squats:3x60kg, 3x80kg, 2x5 100kg, 3x105kg, 3x107.5kg, 2x110kg, 2x112.5kg // nice.

Stretch

Improved my jerk a little bit, was dipping like I would in a squat, bum back which resulted in my leaning forward. So now think dip knees, which keeps my hips from pushing bum back.

Sunday Deadlift day

Warm up
Deadlift: 3x60kg, 2x100kg, 1x140kg, 1x160kg, 1x180kg, 1x195kg, 1x205kg // used straps cos my thumb was sore and think mixed grip is not helping my back.
Skipped the speed deadlifts to save my back.
3 circuits of
SLDL: 8 x 60kg, 65kg, 70kg
Rows: 8 x 60kg, 65kg, 70kg
Pullups: 4,5,3

20 minute sauna, back did not snap up, good session.

Snatch: 4x3 20kg, 2x30kg, 1x40kg, 1x50kg, 1x55kg, 1x60kg, Fx64kg (WTF!) 2x2 64kg, 1,1 68kg, 1x69kg, 1x72.5kg , 1x74kg // was rubbish until I got into the 68kgs.. Think I need to drop 30kg from warm up and jump straight to 50kg off the floor.
Bench: 15x40kg, 15x60kg, 8x70kg
Back Squats: 3x60kg, 3x100kg, 2x5 110kg, 2x3 115kg, 2x125kg, 1x130kg // not easy but all right, should feel light.

Last week I deloaded, just stuff around Monday/Wednesday working with the newbies.

Friday maxed out after 4 weeks of solid training and it was s**t.

Friday

Warm up
Snatch: 1x70kg, 1x75kg, F77kg, 3xF 80kg.. // pants was hoping for PB.
C&J: 1x60kg, 1x70kg, 1x80kg, 1x85kg, 1x80kg, 1x90kg, 1x97kg, 1x103kg, Fx107kg, 2xF 110kg // cleaned the 107kg which is a PB still very s**t not making any progress after a month of spot on training.

Sunday
=======
I am going to have a go doing a friendly comp at a gym down the road, based on this http://www.tacticalstrengthchallenge.com/
Changed my training appropriately,.

Deadlift: 3x60kg, 3x100kg, 1x150kg, 1x160kg, 1x180kg, 1x200kg, 1x215kg // not as strong as I had hoped it would be.
KB Snatch: 16kg 12 reps per hand. 24kg 6 reps hand
Pullups: 7,4,4,4
