A bit rusty.

Stones
100kg to just under eye level (about 70 inches) - 8 attempts until success! Finally worked out how to shoulder. Tried to 74" but failed.

Medley
90kg think handle farmers' 30m, light chain drag 15m - 2 sets

my log was terribly rusty too when i started it again couple weeks back. Now its moving a bit better but still a million miles off the old!

Yeah, it's one of those movements that really benefits from being drilled. I also think the logs at Northwich are also particularly nasty!

Ill yesterday, (first day off work in about 3 years), so trying to keep it sensible.

Front squat

(belt on)

180kg*f - very close, just need to bit more confidence.

Deadlift

Quite happy. Fronts feel more stable. Deadlift perfunctory but should keep me in the groove.

A little jaded from yesterday's squats it seems, so adjusted the rest accordingly.

Circuit: pulldowns, rows and db inclines (closed palm like log) - 3 circuits

I need to build up some conditioning and address a few weak points so these are a necessity. Not much fun though.

Still pretty sore from weds and lost a couple of Kg from illness earlier this week.

Warmup
Muscle snatch 60kg*3/1 arm DB press for random reps - 3 circuits

Push press (first rep from floor)
60kg*5
80kg*3
100kg*2
105kg*1
110kg*1
Move to rack as my cleans are pisspoor and are making my buttocks hurt, but my press feels very strong.
100kg*1
112.5kg*1 = PB
Out of blue, but I'll take it.

Time for another conditioning circuit
Bodyweight dips, Hammer curls, Incline bench, seated row - 3 circuits.

Getting better at these I think.

Went home to go and put some bodyweight back on.
