I managed to pull/strain my side and have been nursing it since. It's not ruinous, as I managed to get through a cricket match with it, and another once since, but it's certainly not right. Today went: Squat 20kg*10 70kg*5,5 Strict press/row 15kg*10/10 35kg*10/10 35kg*10/10 Savage-esque but nothing snapped so a little bit more tomorrow. | ||

I'm basically staying within whatever is comfortable on the day. The usual limiting factor is hip/knee/shoulder soreness from cricket, so I'm just accepting it. It's not an unpleasant way of training and the lighter sessions seem to actually help things. | ||

Helpful. Many with 20kg, plenty with 40kg - all done from the hang. Promising. Squat clean - a few with 40kg, quite a few with 60kg. Some jerks and push presses chucked in. The last two weeks have been fairly limited, although I have of course managed to play cricket. Can't remember what I've lifted but not much. Today: Squat 70kg*5,5,5 110kg*2,2 130kg*2 Strict press 40kg*5,5 60kg*3,3 Three days of gradually increasing intensity is now the plan. Maybe even some deadlifts, who knows. | ||
