This week:
Sunday - run 2 miles
Tuesday - explosive bowels
Thursday - Squat up to 150kg, clean and strict/push presses with 70kg
Saturday - Squat up to 160kg, cleans and 1 strict, 1 push with 70kg for a few sets, then push press 90kg*1, strict 70kg*4.
Still feeling after-effects of Tuesday.

Great excitement as I have finally ordered a new bar and today it arrived. Sadly I only had a few minutes to mess around before heading out, but I can confirm it really is quite nice.

Very little logged of late and nothing really of interest. Struggling a little bit with balancing recovery from cricket, which is now very much the priority.

Yesterday
Squat up to 130kg*2
Strict then push presses up to 80kg
Rows

Today
Squat up to 170kg
Push press up to 80kg
Clean pulls (my clean feels so weak I can't even clean 100kg)
Stiffleg deadlift 150kg*2,2,2
Deadlift 170kg*5
Strict press 60kg*2,2,2

To add the above, not much lifting has been happening. I managed to pull/strain my side and have been nursing it since. It's not ruinous, as I managed to get through a cricket match with it, and another once since, but it's certainly not right.
Today went:

70kg*5,5

Strict press/row
15kg*10/10
35kg*10/10
35kg*10/10

Savage-esque but nothing snapped so a little bit more tomorrow.

Two sessions in the last week:

Squat - up to 130kg*2 paused
Strict press - up to 55kg 5*3 (I think?)
Some other stuff

Squat - up to 150kg
Push press - up to 90kg*2

Today:
Squat - up to 150kg*3
Strict press - 35kg*10, 55kg*6, 75kg*1

Side is nearly there.

Training at the moment is interesting. I'm basically staying within whatever is comfortable on the day. The usual limiting factor is hip/knee/shoulder soreness from cricket, so I'm just accepting it. It's not an unpleasant way of training and the lighter sessions seem to actually help things.

Snatch - about 15 minutes working through what I'd seen on Youtube about learning to snatch. Helpful. Many with 20kg, plenty with 40kg - all done from the hang. Promising.

Squat clean - a few with 40kg, quite a few with 60kg. Some jerks and push presses chucked in.

Long time/no update.

The last two weeks have been fairly limited, although I have of course managed to play cricket. Can't remember what I've lifted but not much.

Today:

Strict press
40kg*5,5
60kg*3,3

Three days of gradually increasing intensity is now the plan. Maybe even some deadlifts, who knows.
