Farmers' walk (thick handles) 70kg*30m 90kg*30m 110kg*30m 130kg*5m 130kg*5m Last two sets not to failure/limit but grip was really struggling. I don't honestly think I could go very far at all without a drop. On a positive note, pickup was pretty smooth, as it should be. | ||

Squat to warm up 60kg*5,5,5 Deadlift 100kg*5 140kg*3 180kg*3 220kg*2 (belt on) 240kg*1 260kg*1,1 Everything felt pretty smooth. 260 felt as good as it ever has. For a moment tempted to do something stupid, but thankfully logic took over. Squat (high bar, no belt) 140kg*5,5,5 Given the circumstances, a pretty pleasing session. Hopefully get in for a longer session on Thursday. | ||

Warmup Light Squats and hang cleans Deadlift 100kg*5 140kg*5 180kg*2 220kg*1 240kg*1 260kg*1 - bit of a grinder today Deadlifting so early doesn't seem to suit me much. I should probably have used less weight, more volume and worked on drilling setup etc. P/clean and p/press 60kg*5,5 80kg*5 100kg*1 105kg*1 110kg*1 115kg*split clean! - I seem to do these inadvertently from time to time. Not a problem but they do get some funny looks. Burnt out pretty quickly again. Went to do some lighter push presses from rack but suddenly everything felt heavy, so left it. Circuit 1 Incline bench/pullups 50kg*5/bodyweight*4 - 3 sets 60kg*5/bodyweight*4 70kg*5/bodyweight*4 Circuit 2 DB power snatch/back squat 17.5kg*5 each arm/100kg*5 22.5kg*5/100kg*5 30kg*3/100kg*5 Decline bench 60kg*5/30kg*3/140kg*3 Decline bench 60kg*5/30kg*3/140kg*3 Fun session. Overhead feels pretty strong, got some good conditioning work done. Hopefully will get confirmation on competitions soon, so I can get some impetus and focus. | ||
