Arrived to find some other guys training already, so went a bit off plan.

Bit of a retarded way to start. Felt something sore in my upper back for the rest of the session.

Car deadlift (side handle)

Not especially heavy but useful to practice the technique.

Last two sets not to failure/limit but grip was really struggling. I don't honestly think I could go very far at all without a drop. On a positive note, pickup was pretty smooth, as it should be.

OFSTED, as in the school inspectors. Not sure how familiar you are with the reaction they provoke in most schools, but it isn't pretty.

Really rushed today for various reasons. In and out in about 40 minutes.

Everything felt pretty smooth. 260 felt as good as it ever has. For a moment tempted to do something stupid, but thankfully logic took over.

Given the circumstances, a pretty pleasing session. Hopefully get in for a longer session on Thursday.

Deadlifting so early doesn't seem to suit me much. I should probably have used less weight, more volume and worked on drilling setup etc.
