triple with your current pb aint shabby in my book!

keep it up man. If i would suggest anything, i would say try to do more volume on your main lifts - your body is still getting used to them and you can gain a lot of "strength" by just getting more accustomed to the lifts themselves. They dont have to be heavy all out balls -> wall, but if you nail loads of doubles with 80% range you get a lot of work in and can finetune your form after every set (be critical!).

keep doing 5 up to about 80% then go for double or triple as go up in weight?
deads, squat and push press? or just deads and squats

whats your routine like at the mo? maybe if you would squat twice a week (which i would recommend to anyone getting into the game and wanting quick improvements) you could go heavier one session, up to heavy 5, 3, 2 or 1, and couple back off sets with lighter weight get some reps in. And another session with higher volume, but not as much weight, up to 8-9 doubles with moderate weight, in your case maybe 70kgish? really focus on form, controlled walkout and descent, explosive accent, speed, speed, speed on the way up.

basic routine is

day 1 normally monday-
squats
clean and press
dips
rev grip narrow pulldown

day 2 normally wednesday-
deadlifts
rows
wide grip pulldown

day 3 normally thu-
strict military press
incline bench
shrugs

sat-
events

dont always get day 3 tho like this week was just to tired.

70 failed, had ab out 3 attempt, got one locked but couldn stay still thanks to joni and johnny when i was going way to far backwards haha

think that was the weights, not sure how many 60 i did. gutted i didn get 70, but manged to clean it this time. which is an improvement and i reckon with some more technique help from the dungeon guys it will be there next sat.

farnmers walk. first time ever doing this
just farmersx40m
60x40 felt comfortable, turning needs some work.
80- did 20, turned but cudn starighten up and went down. cudn lift them back up. was gutted, grip just wasnt good enough.
wated couple mins for joni yoke, and then after some tips ongrip, manged to pick it back up and do the last 15m or so felt easy, then held for a while which felt like tourcher haha.

think i could do 80k next time with some more heart put into it.straighten up, better grip style.

thanks to johnny, joni and pete. loved this session, was awsome. very motivating. good lifting by all. thanks for helping me out guys.

solid session mate, cleans looked like a different lift in the end!

And i think your farmers were with 70 for 40 and then 80? Didnt you have 2x20kg + 30kg implement? Solid work there as well.

Yeah, good work today. Farmers weights were as Joni says, and you're C&P weights were right too. 70 will go next week mate, definitely!

been to physio this mornign and my knee id f**king hurting.
basically because ui had a couple week progression, but now its just gone back. so another week session, and if not then ill be going to a consultant. as she has run out of ideas and not sure what it is now.
so gope they find something. but that could be a few weeks yet.

hope my bupa covers it all lol.

s**t session, well two words.

never really felt it today, knee been very bad but new knee support took away the pain, so ended up squating like normal.

squats- went lower than normal, until 90k as then only went about 45degrees just had no power there, and didn feel could go lower

60x1, second press cudn do it, shoulder twinged to f**k and cudn press.

want a wank shoulder session. was a pathetic attempt today. plan was 60x3 rep. then a 65x3 rep. maybe back to 60 for some more. dont know if i just blitzed myself on sunday to much???

rev grip pulldown- shudn have bothered my nan cud pull more

tried 90 as felt weak and shoulder painful and didn do one.

hope fpr a better session on thursday doing deads and back.

as a general rule they dont. but last couple weeks they have been causing pain.
i can always feel it. but the new support really did make it feel more stable and less painfull. as it does buckle aswell.

i agree with milsy, strongman is pretty full on and no doubt you will feel it afterwards more than your gym sessions.

bummer about the knee though, do you know what exactly is causing the problem?

i guess your right guys.

well no i dont any more, its always been prob the patella (sp) tendon. but then she went, well it carnt be cos it dosnt hurt you when she pushed somewhere. the tried cartilidge but it didn hurt when she did some random thing with my knee. so dont know, hence now off to consultant after another session.
i can live with it, genrally it aint to bad, just got to keep it supported or else it will go again.
general thigns to set it off are running, twisting to much, jumping, puttin foot into side of moving cars (found that one out oops)

was happy pulled 140, would have liked 3reps as 120 went up easily. 140 seemed to look better than lastweeks 130 lift. changed form to more how i did the cleans. grip was struggling tho. not counting as pb till i pull 3 reps lol.

lack of weights today but could do with another set in there

20 mins on treadmill, mix of fast walking and jogging, mostly fast walking lol.
