You have made some great progres dude, if you nailed your squat tech I reckon you'd get a huge pb there.

yeah the progress is very nice , keeps the motivation levels sky high when you are PBing almost every session ! And yeah there is more in the squat yet , its all about learning the tekkers as you say , im getting there though....albeit slowly Happy I guess thats the downside of living rurally and not having a decent gym nearby , its all about teaching yourself the technique via online guides etc , as opposed to training with guys who have been there and done that to give you pointers and help progress.

in the same position as you in that I'm self taught in the techniques is use so can understand what your saying.

Wasn't in the mood tonight for some reason , a bit jaded ...oh well Man up and get it done...

SQUAT
1x15 @ bar
1x8 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 97.5kg(twinges in my right leg up high)
1x3 @ 112.5kg(niggly right groin)
3x5 @ 142.5kg(toughest my working sets have been to date , needed to catch my breath after some reps)

Overhead Press
1x15 @ bar
1x10 @ 40kg
1x5 @ 50kg
3x5 @ 70kg(5,5,4)
1x5 @ 80kg(these were Push press)

Deadlift
1x12 @ 60kg
1x8 @ 90kg
1x5 @ 112.5kg
1x3 @ 140kg
1x1 @ 162.5kg
1x5 @ 182.5kg(400lbs for 5 , nice to finally get there)
1xf,1 @ 212.5kg PB(had 2 attempts at this , first 1 my right hand was being a fairy!!!!!!!!,2nd time i got it but i was kinda pissed off at the fail)

Incline Situp SS with Preacher Curls
3x20 / 3x10 @ 34kg(last set i did a 12)

Was kind of wary of the niggle in the right groin during squats but on my working set i couldnt feel it , really strange ...never tried a PB attempt though cos i didnt want to tempt fate!

been following sl 5x5 for like 9 months now , pissed about with dumbbells a little for maybe 6-8 months before that so roughly a year and a half..but only really seriously the last few months tbh , mainly since we got the gym setup .

haha buy a belt ?!?! ffs i thought you was getting me 1 for my birthday Unhappy

Inzer forever 10mm single prong i believe is the way to go i have been told , but i guess any belt would do for a noob lifter to begin with.

Nice progress. Dont worry about the big milestone numbers overall for now. Think about the next one in each individual lift, it wont seem so daunting.

As for the belt, I use is the strengthshop lever one. I really like it, and it was not that expensive
