lol still hate them mate but im just trying to find what works for me at the moment i find going to high can be a bit painful especially if iv had a busy day at work my knees are a bit tender.

lol yeah cardio is on the cards im actually enjoying it but again with work being on my knees all day and then my bodyweight i can only really manage 2 sessions a week or it can be a bit sore especially my bad knee from my car accident, hopefully this will improve over the next few months.

To be fair doing more cardio and/or conditioning can only be a good thing to compliment the lifts. Won't lie the KB stuff I do for conditioning I never really look forward to, but once i've done I do feel good after it, also found fitness increased pretty damned quickly with it to be fair.
2 days lifting with conditioning and cardio etc will do you well mate.

A lots changed! We are falling to pieces lol

I've had one shoulder operation, about 5 cortisone injections in my shoulders and an extra one guided by ultrasound today.

I have a nose operation coming up too so i can actually breathe!

I have also set up a garage gym recently and im loving it.

Keep buying toys for it though and ive got more weight i could ever lift lol

That sounds horrendous mate definitely have it worse than me lol.

Your set up looks good mate especially with the stones. I love having it there the only downside im having is if some of my innuries are hurting i dont want to lift so can be very inconsistent from week to week.

Have you got any plans to compete again ?

Yeah ive stupidly booked myself in for cambridges strongest man inters class lol

Gives me something to aim for. If i can not get a "no lift" on day with the pressing ill be happy.

What about you, you got anything coming up?

No nothing mate i would struggle just to even compete at novice level mate im a good year away from considering competing again.

The rehab stuff and combining back in the workout is starting to pay off thats the first time iv actually benched pain free in a long time.

My technique is off and the weight felt a bit heavier than expected but it gives me something to build on. There is more there but i dont want to push my luck to soon.

I tried tweaking my squat set up and stance a little and i actually felt a big improvement, iv opened my stance up a little bit more i have a bit more flexibility in my hips. It felt a little bit alien but it felt really fast, its not ass to grass but its definitely below parallel so im going to keep working on it and hopefully it will pay off better than my current set up.

Yeah it finally feels good to not actually have any bad pain there just trying to get over the doms now though lol.

Fatigue kicked in on the incline dumbell press but again no pain in my shoulder which is a bonus.

Really enjoyed this week so far iv got deadlift, back assistance and squats tomorrow. Hopefully i can start to get a run of training in now and even though the weights aren't heavy (even though they feel it) iv got something to improve on.
