cheers mate its knocked me for 6 these last 2 weeks its literally came out of nowhere i felt fine on the Sunday then bang Monday i was in bits.

TUESDAY - 25/08/2015

Iv slowly but surely recovered from my illness it took alot out of me and really knocked me for 6 but im finally on the mend now.

My strength is right down now and im at that point i dont feel like having to restart all over again, that buzz just aint there to lift heavy and risk another injury so iv decided that im going to drop as much weight healthily and try and get into reasonable shape walking around at 20 stone is no use in every day life its only good for strongman.

Iv always been a fan of boxing and joined a gym tonight and my first session was 90 minutes long and it almost killed me lol, iv got another session on Thursday and im going to change my gym workouts to suit.

Morning session

Up nice and early this morning and feel like iv been hit by a bus lol but managed to drag myself out and do 20 minutes fasted cardio, iv definitely got a long way to go to improve on this but its a start. And then managed 50 sit ups which killed me after last nights circuit lol.
Once my shoulder is at or near 100% ill start throwing in press ups aswell.
Hopefully over the next coming months i can get my weight down and increase on all these numbers.
Iv hopefully got the gym today after work but that all depends on how busy i am.

That was it for tonight im feeling proper beat up from the boxing.

The bear is back. Insert evil laugh here.

Great news on the boxing mate. It really opens your eyes just how hard fighting is and how much fitness is required doesn't it. It think you'll enjoy this, completely different focus.

lol im aching from head to toe mate especially these strange muscles that you call abs.

I had to bring it back it was a killer but i sort of enjoyed it and im definitely enjoying the new focus and hopefully ill start to feel healthier after a bit of time.

THURSDAY - 27/08/2015

My second boxing session of the week and to say im sore is an understatement lol
It was overall a good session im definitely lacking in speed though hopefully after a couple more weeks i wont be as bulky and feel as heavy.
Iv done more direct ab work this week than i have in the last 2 years lol it kills me when i sneeze.

Ill be back up in the morning for a steady jog and may be some more abs before work.

FRIDAY - 28/08/2015

Morning Session

Done 20 minutes fasted cardio this morning was going to hit abs again but im to sore im really feeling the DOMS now.

Iv got a gym session tonight then thats me until Monday im really looking forward to a good bit of recovery lol.

Ha ha abs DOMS are killer, literally every way you move hurts but you already know this Tongue.

Are there many other heavy weights or at least heavy weight near your weight? It's the nature of the beast mate, you won't be as fast the small skinny guys in the lighter classes but they'll lack your power. I see the same thing at KM. Skinny little energiser bunnies that can fight forever but nearly every strike just bounces off because they are so weak. Need to find the middle ground and have a good balance I guess.

Lol from the 2 sessions iv done im by far the heaviest i think iv got a good 5 stone on the closest person to me in weight. Im hoping that i can gradually get myself down to about 18stone.

Nice early start this morning up at 6 to do some cardio i managed to complete 40 minutes, it was a struggle near the end but kept it going.

Its slowly improving i will stick with the route that im doing and try to improve on my speed before i up the distance.

Sounds like you've had a rough time as of late...........again. Hope all's ok now.

See you've started boxing goodman, will improve your fitness. As Nails has said it takes a lot more to fight than you think, even more so in that due to the getting hit back.

Everyone is starting some form of boxing/martial art...i feel left out here!

Lol your on a roll with your training mate you dont need to start anything new. Iv gone back to boxing because old injuries especially my bicep and shoulder just cant hold up to the heavy heavy lifting i can only manage a few weeks then it or something else goes this gives me a new direction and to try somw new stuff with weight lifting.
