Funny old game that you can have a poor session, then come back in and nail it! As Andy says, the strength is definitely there - as soon as you feel less battered you'll throw up some massive Olympic lifts, especially on your new Eleiko. Wink

Muscle snatch
70 for 2 PB

Power snatch
Up to 86 decent. Too sore for any more.

Deficit deads
Up to 182 3,3,1 terres major???? Tweaked on the first rep. Ow Unhappy only a small pull

CGBP
UP TO 125 3 easy enough but lat was off putting

Home

Off to dentist! For a tooth out,
OW!!!!! Bloody bone drilling for over an hour Unhappy my face is a mess. Will be all weekend, tres mis Unhappy

Then got home and POW!!!!!

ELEIKO BARBELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Full comp spec, such a sexy bit of kit. Kneeling feels amazing!!!!!! So so nice. Couldn't bed happier.

Now to get recovered enough to lift tomorrow!

Good news about the Elieko bar! I just used mine there for some technique work / stretching and feel I was being a bit harsh about the knurling. Sorry I ever said anything bad about it Grin

The knurling is funny. Sort of feels like it should be sharp when you run your hands over it but when you grip it, it's kinda nice!

Might have a different opinion once I've got 100+kg on it...

Had the eleiko out to play today Happy shame I'm a bit of a mess but oh well

Snatch
Up to 100 FF 1
106 FF

106 FF what a mess. Doesn't help having pulled lats.

Clean and jerk
Up to 130
136 peach
142 FFF jerk every time. Cleans were strong for equal pbs!

Back squat
150 8 that'll do considering the multiple heavy cleans

Some bent over rows at 40

Bar is lush, I'm not.. No deads this week to allow lats to recover. Think 142 will go next week and 145 the week after. Snatches feel well off but I expect that's mostly my bad back

The 136 looked effortless, honestly it did. Pop and boom there it was! Don't get too bogged down lots of little things suggesting that your strongs are 100% on the rise. Plus Simon's a proper L A D.

Had a really awful week of training with not very much in it but culminating with not being able to snatch 95 this morning because everything hurt too much. Been at the heavy stuff for too long!

Going to do a 3 week stint of light confidence building until I have a week off (new job starts) and then begin my 6 week London Spring Open approach.

Starts on Monday Happy
