Some muscle up fails....

Managed 6 rounds and 5 extra shoulder to oh = 185 reps.

Need to get used to just keeping moving!

God knows why but had a bit of energy left tonight so did some BW stuff. This is my main weakness so needs the attention!

Hand stand hold against wall 30s
Hand stand hold facing the wall 60s tough...
Some headstand stuff, 30-40s a time, hard.
Air squats: 70 in 80? Seconds
Press ups, chest to floor obs: 40 easy enough....

Sweaty now!

Wanted two rounds of this to make it 10 mins but I was destroyed. Too heavy for my feeble self at the moment. No need to keep on burying myself. Would have been better to put some good graft in on a few weaknesses.

WOD 2
C2 Rower:
4x500m 1 min rest. Rate 23, average pace 1:41.7
This was 4/10 on the rower scale of agony, which still meant I nearly stopped about 5 times.

Got to get tough and stay constructive.

Tonight, squeezing in a bit of extra gymnastics!

Double under practice... Only managed to string 2 together, no more...

Muscle up on the bar practice, some box jumps into muscle ups but no full ones.

Very happy to hit that snatch when tired, no WL shoes on. Could not do any extra OHS though. Shoulder stability had left me!

HSPU x2, toes to bar 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 then just strict HSPU increasing the depth up to an easy full range one. Apparently it's good to be able to knock this out without any practice. Guess being able to strict your body weight is a big help...

Saturday morning, felt very broken after Friday but wanted to train with a couple of the lads.

Clean/Paused Front squat/Jerk
up to 100
115, peach
122.5 failed the jerk but only just and was quite strong on the rest

Back Squat
up to 120
145 3,3,3,3,3 all beltless, tough work on tired quads

Practised HS walks, knees together is a good cue.

Practised Bar muscle ups, got one Happy awesome

Practised butterfly pull ups and looked a muppet Unhappy

EMOM for 10 mins
3 muscle snatch 45kg
3 Strict pull ups (changed to 5 after 4 mins)
3 dips (changed to 5 after 4 mins)
Fun.
