lovely training bigG , it seems I am not flexible enough to perform some of the basic WL positions ...... when you started did you have to spend plenty of time working on flexibility ?

that phillipe fellow was in the french national squad i believe !!

Yeh boar I've always been relatively flexible but definitely needed to do a lot of shoulder stretching. Just forcing them into decent positions without losing all stability in my torso.

Also! I've stuck some heel inserts in my boots whcih makes up for my freakishly long femurs and minimal ankle mobility.....

I stretch a bit when the mood takes me but he lifts themselves are a good stretching session. Can't beat hanging around in the bottom of snatches for a bit!

By doing the lifting you will be forced to become mobile and stable!!!

What's your best front squat Ginge...?

One time I dreamed that I hang snatched 157.5kg like... And in another dream I clean and jerk 170kg every two minutes for an hour

Now I dream of being good enough to load your bar!!!

Biggest front is 162.5 but best session is 155 x 3...... You've done 180-190 ish??

Aim is 170 as a skinny 85 soon!

My best jerk was heavy enough that I'm happy to leave it in the past

Between me and you mate a 210kg power jerk out of racks does sound like a lot of weight


You're squats are solid

I am starting lifting again partly due to this log...well actually this log has helped me in a big way realise how much fun and challenging lifting is!

For that I thank you...!!!

That is an awful lot of weight!

'Solid' is pretty much all I can hope for at the moment... Sometimes wish there weren't things to distract me and I'd push for 'pretty good' a bit more full time. Doesn't take long for me to realise that'd be a pretty dull life though!

For now it's a fun thing to do a few times a week and I feel like I'm getting better again Happy very glad I could serve as some form of inspiration to yourself!

Crossfit Bromborough. Mr Jaggard's establishment! Nice chap, tidy little gym, let's me train there when I'm home. Big fan!
