Szczepanski did not attempt - apparently he couldn't get up from the pain. He's out of the competition. Let's hope he heals up quick. It looks like Terry is in, and Derek pretty much just needs to not zero on the last two events to qualify for the final. Block lift and loading race is left. Group 3: DB Press Travis 9 reps Lalas 8 reps Katona 5 reps Kulaga 0 reps no report on Ilin. This puts Travis in the lead with 25.5 points, Katona is in 2nd with 24 points. Lalas has between 19 points and 22 points - depending on truck pull and power stairs results. But with only the loading race left Travis and Katona are the most likely going to the finals. In group 4 we have no results for the Africa Stone. Zydrunas won the Axle with 8 reps, which is no surprise but is great news that his leg is holding up. LPJ got 2nd with 7 reps, and Brant and Loz tied at 5. Four guys in group 4 did better than all the guys in Group 1 on Axle (though I suspect Shaw only did what he had to for the event win). Group 4 has Deadlift Hold and Loading Race tomorrow. No results from Group 5.
